Junet van Schalkwyk represented KAIZEN® Institute New Zealand at the third KAIZEN® Admin Meeting in Prague, Czech Republic. Administrators and IT employees from 12 countries including Portugal, Romania, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, France, Austria, Czech Republic, USA, Mexico and Italy were present at the meeting.
Participants were divided into three groups and had the opportunity to receive specialised training in KAIZEN® Institute’s global accounting system, Microsoft Dynamics Axapta Beginners, Advanced or Website content management system.
All participants also received training on KIM (the KAIZEN® Information Management system) and IT Standards for KAIZEN® Institute as a global consultancy company.
Microsoft Dynamics Axapta enables KAIZEN® Institute staff to handle accounting and project management with the advantage of a global KI standard in accounting procedures, reporting and year end closing.
The second day of the meeting included a visit to the KAIZEN® Institute Prague office who won the 2008 ICHI-BAN award. Participants had the chance to see Office Live in the Prague office, how they operate their KAIZEN® College and their daily office activities.
Junet also had the opportunity to visit the German office in Bad Homburg and the Global office in Zug, Switzerland where she got to experience their office live tours.
It was really valuable to experience three different office live environments. It raised awareness and supplied more examples of how we can improve the KAIZEN® Institute New Zealand office to be able to showcase a sound example of office live with visual management to our clients and participants in our College seminars. The visit enforced the importance of standards and SOP’s in the office environment and the need for continuous improvement.
KAIZEN® Institute New Zealand’s clients can look forward to benefit from Junet’s experience.
